Lennox Heads

Wow! Why go to Byron when this is place is just down the road!  By the way I realise I am not taking pics to show you these places – sorry – only interested in artistic  and/or stunning shots – not photojournalism….so I have no pics of the town or local scenery..but will think about doing that in the future maybe.

Lennox Heads is a tiny beach village, a couple of excellent restaurants and cafes – and a few more ordinary ones, one IGA, one Pizza shop, a couple of boutiques, great juice bar, and the beach across the road and a huge tea tree lake down the road. Actually this extended weekend was a bit of a holiday for me – I decided not to put too much effort into anything, other than cafe spotting….so I didn’t run around looking for magical photo opportunities – but found a few  in my wanderings……

I booked a lovely pet friendly beach house for 3 nights and got up to see the sunrise on the first morning – fantastic – then a lazy breakfast (in one of the ordinary cafes by mistake) and read the papers.  Then a good cafe for a good coffee and  and opened the laptop to check my newly growing share portfolio – hehehe – and then had scallops and fennel salad for lunch.

After a nanna nap, I caught up with Susanne and a bunch of girls for a lovely ceremony around the lake and dinner at the local Thai restaurant, which was the reason for coming to Lennox in the first place.
