Border Ranges
With Salsa safely in the back seat, we took off with the whole day to explore any territory we liked between Susanne’s at Lynches Creek, and Mt Tamborine which was our destination for the day.
We headed straight in the the Border Ranges as we had just spent 3 days at the base of the mountains at Lynches Creek. It was another day of spectacular scenery that I could have explored photographically for days….
First stop was at the farm gate – yep – here we go again……beautiful farm, forest and creek scenery…again 10 minutes later……
The highlight of the Border Ranges is the lookout on Pinnacle Rock…..which I imagine is breathtaking by the information board, but we were in the clouds – which made fantastic shots too, but no view!
We stopped in Nimbin for a late lunch….thought Eelco would like to see it…..but happy if that was the last time I go there….
From Nimbin, through Murwillumbah, full moon on the QLD border to Numinbah Valley (nice!), no time for the Natural Arch – as usual I run out of time, arriving on Mt. Tamborine in time for dinner.
