Bats!

In Bellingen, on a little island in the middle of Bellinger river, a short walk from town, is a colony of flying foxes – 45,000 of them! Eelcoa and I had an hour to kill on the way out of town, we had been planning to check it out for weeks…… I wish we had all day to play and try and achieve the ‘National Geographic’ shot……. but here is what I managed in an hour…..of course it’s the action shots that are a challenge!
